American comedian Druski is currently facing significant backlash online after sharing a controversial sketch that appears to mock Erika Kirk, the widow of the late Turning Point USA founder, Charlie Kirk.
The video quickly gained traction on X, with the caption: “How Conservative Women in America act.”
”You think this is funny?”
In the sketch, Druski donned full prosthetics and imitated Kirk’s distinctive style, including her dresses and well-known fist pose, accompanied by pyrotechnics that were eerily reminiscent of those used at Charlie Kirk’s memorial.
Critics argue that the timing and subject matter were particularly insensitive, especially considering that Charlie Kirk was tragically shot and killed at a Utah event in September 2025.
“I love your work bro but this ain’t it man. F*** the politics in it – this is a grieving widow who tragically lost her husband over mental people. Come on man,” one critic expressed on X.
”This is not funny at all, further proof that the left cannot meme or make jokes and that they are low IQ, bitter clowns,” another user commented.
Another added, “Is this a joke? You think this is funny? Making fun of Erika Kirk? You’re a disgusting piece of you know what.”
Despite the backlash, some supporters defended the comedian, claiming the skit was intended as satire.
“People never understand satire,” one user remarked.
Another person joked: “If you think about it, Druski is the best drag queen/king in the world.”
Erika Kirk, who took on the role of CEO at Turning Point USA after her husband was murdered, has been candid about her sorrow.
Reflecting on the heartbreaking loss, she shared:
“One moment you’re on the floor, crying out the name Jesus between labored breaths. The next, you’re playing with your kids in the living room… experiencing a wave of something you can only describe as a bittersweet, divinely inspired joy as a smile breaks through.”
Known for his parodies of megachurch pastors,
In March 2026, Erik was appointed to the 16-member Board of Visitors at the U.S. Air Force Academy, effectively taking on the position once held by her late husband.
The former Miss Arizona beauty pageant winner also continues to make public appearances alongside officials from the Trump administration.
Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, gained popularity with his absurd Instagram skits starting in 2017 and has previously faced backlash from conservatives for his parodies of megachurch pastors and religious figures. Today, he boasts over 30 million followers across his social media channels.
Nonetheless, this recent skit aimed at Erika Kirk is anticipated to provoke a significantly greater backlash because of its personal and politically sensitive content.
“This really upset all the right people,” commented one viewer, while another remarked, “ Druski is a CRAZY guy for that one lololol. #ThatCall is on the way.”
Whether viewed as sharp satire or harsh ridicule, the sketch has rekindled discussions about the limits of comedy, grief, and politics in today’s viral landscape.
