My dog has been pregnant for seven weeks and I’m so alarmed because she has these purple lines and red spots on her skin.
It’s not that visible in the photo but in real life it’s very dark and looks scary. I searched on Google and other dogs don’t have stomachs this big so I think hers is about to pop out. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s her first time getting pregnant or if the size is just not normal.
I’m about to bring her to the vet right now but I wanted to ask if anyone here has seen this purple color on a pregnant dog. Her stomach is a crazy size and it feels so tight like she might explode any second. We’re really worried that she has too many puppies or if the purple lines mean something is wrong with her health. Please tell me if this happened to your dog or if I should be rushing to the emergency room immediately.
